Internet Pioneer & Social Activist
As an Internet pioneer, digital project manager and former agency owner with over 30 years of experience building websites and digital marketing campaigns, I help people and organizations use technology to achieve their goals. Both as a professional and as a layperson, I have been a social activist making the world a better place. Born in the USA and living in Israel since 1990, I bring a broad multicultural perspective to both my work and social initiatives always results-driven and people-centered.
Professional Experience
Throughout my career I've worked with scores of organizations and businesses on projects in over 30 countries taking projects from concept to completion. As a people person, team builder, and excellent communicator, I have often been the bridge between people and technology, helping my clients establish a strong presence on the Internet and succeed.
Beyond my client work, I love sharing knowledge and connecting people. I've organized and spoken at over 100 professional workshops, conferences and events. I've also created and taught web design courses and coordinated Jerusalem Web Professionals, helping to build a collaborative community of digital professionals in Jerusalem.
Social Action
Beyond my professional work, I've been deeply involved in social activism for many decades. I've worked with organizations supporting vulnerable populations and minorities taking direct action to help them. I serve on several nonprofit boards and committees. Helping people and advancing social justice are my passions - my "Why".
Other Contributions
For 15 years I wrote a regular column called "Jerusalem Journal" for the Jewish Community Voice of Southern NJ. Each piece connected a news item from Israel with its personal impact on my family and myself, offering a universal lesson which readers could apply to their own lives. Through this column I served as a bridge between my community in Israel and the one I came from in Southern NJ, promoting understanding and unity.
For over 25 years I have been deeply engaged in two parallel paths deepening my understand of business while pursuing mindfulness, meditation and spiritual development. I realized the importance of integrating these two parts of my life. I created the Business and Mindfulness Mastermind to help professions bring mindfulness into their work rather than keeping it separate. I regularly attend meditation retreats and help coordinate the Snow and Mindfulness Retreat in Andorra under the auspices of Thich Nhat Hanh's Plum Village.
